The 5 Days Wildlife safari will take you to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track Rhinos before you head to Murchison Falls National Park. Then drive northwest of Kampala to Murchison Falls national park which is one of the vast parks in Uganda, where you will enjoy views of spectacular wildlife during both game drives and a boat cruise down the falls on River Nile, Hike on top of the Falls for the magnificent view of the Rainbow at the falls. The Safari will take you to Queen Elizabeth National park for a magical wildlife experience in the most visited national park. Set against the backdrop of the jagged Rwenzori Mountains, the park’s magnificent visits include dozens of enormous craters carved dramatically into rolling green hills, panoramic views of the Kazinga Channel with its banks lined with hippos, buffalo, and elephants, and the endless Ishasha plains, whose fig trees hide lions ready to pounce on herds of unsuspecting Uganda kob. Return to the hotel for an early lunch. After lunch, head for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. En-route, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17km stretch you may see elephants, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, and crocodiles.
This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant, and the rare shoebill stork. There you leave the boat and start your – quite heavy – hike to the Top of the Falls (approx. 1 hour). See where the world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment as it plunges to form Murchison Falls. You will hike to the top of the Falls and your driver/guide will be waiting for you at the top of the falls to bring you back to the lodge
