Safari Overview
Our 5 Days Gorilla Trekking and Game drive safaris will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for a memorable experience with the endangered Mountain Gorillas and then to Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives and boat safari on a 32 km Kazinga channel, that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This channel has the highest concertation of hippo in the world. A drive to Kasenyi plains and Ishasha sector for wildlife views.
Bwindi Gorilla trekking is the most enchanting experience in this forest that will leave you with memories of a life time.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park
Our tour guide / driver shall pick you from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe early morning and set off a scenic drive south west of Uganda to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. You will have stop over at the equator for photography and experimentation and lunch in Mbarara town. You will reach Bwindi in the evening for Dinner and overnight at the safari lodge or hotel. The park is a heritage to the popular mountain Gorillas left in the wild ,these wild apes inhabiting this park are recorded to be over 50% of the world's population. While driving to this region, you will be thrilled with an amazing experience of the topography made of hills, valleys and the beautiful sceneries of Virunga, Mgahinga and Muhavura mountains though from a distance to either Rushanga or Ruhija sections for gorilla trekking

Day 2: Gorilla trekking adventure
Early morning at 6 am, you will prepare yourself and have breakfast before gathering at the park headquarters at 7 am with your packed lunch to be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. You will then proceed to trek the gorillas in the forest at 8:30 am, an experience that will take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the apes on the day. After spending an hour with the gorillas, descend back to the lodge for refreshment. In the evening, you may go for a nature walk or cultural walk to the Batwa communities for Batwa trail experience that leads you to the lives of the ancient people of the forest.

Day 3: Transfer to Ishasha Sector - Queen Elizabeth National Park




After early morning breakfast, you will depart for Ishasha Sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park for tree climbing lions game drive. In addition to the fascinating population of the Tree Climbing Lions within the Ishasha sector, you will also come across huge buffalo herds, numerous antelopes that keep crossing your path. There are also a number of elephants that have actually settled within the Ishasha area and the numerous hippos and the only thing not plentiful here are tourists. The Game drive can take close to 3-4 hours trying to locate the tree climbing lions. After the game drive; will head to the hotel / lodge for refreshment and overnight.

Day 4: Game Drives and Boat cruise Queen Elizabeth National Park
After early morning breakfast, you will depart for Kasenyi plains in Queen Elizabeth National Park for a morning game drive. You will come across huge buffalo herds, numerous antelopes that keep crossing your path. There are also a number of elephants that have actually settled within the Ishasha area and the numerous hippos and the only thing not plentiful here are tourists. After the morning drive, you will check in the lodge. Lunch will be served at the lodge and after you will head to the jetty along kazinga channel for the afternoon boat cruise. This cruise offers you chances of viewing animals like: hippos, water birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and many other wildlife which flock the channel for drinking water.
