This Gorillas and Game Safari will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will have a chance to trek one of the habituated mountain gorilla families and take back memories and then takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives and a boat cruise on Kazinga channel which has the highest concentration of hippos in the whole world, over 600 species of birds can be spotted an on a good day, this boat cruise can expose you to more wildlife than you can find on any given game drive.

Arrival

Day 1: To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After Breakfast, you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi located on the Eastern side of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Your guide will make stopovers at the Equator for photograph and lunch in Mbarara town. You will then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Rushaga or Ruhija sections in Uganda. Rushaga region is found in the southern sector of Bwindi impenetrable National park, the park known in the history of Tourism for protecting the endangered species of animals the ‘mountain Gorillas’. The park is a heritage to the popular mountain Gorillas left in the wild ,these wild apes inhabiting this park are recorded to be over 400 in number and the Rushaga sector is one of the region with the biggest number of Gorilla families ‘five in total’ . While driving to this region, you will be thrilled with an amazing experience of the topography made of hills, valleys and the beautiful sceneries of Virunga, Mgahinga and Muhavura mountains though from a distance to Rushaga or Ruhija sections of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an overnight.

DAY 02: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park

After your early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to Ruhija or Rushaga Park headquarters for briefing and join others for gorilla trekking. You will start your trek which can take from 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of mountain gorillas on that particular day. Once you have found them, you will be allowed to spend upto one hour of observation and photography with the these magnificent primates before returning back to the park headquarters for certificate awarding and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 03: Drive to Ishasha Sector - Queen Elizabeth National Park

After early morning breakfast, you will depart for Ishasha Sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park for tree climbing lions game drive.  In addition to the fascinating population of the Tree Climbing Lions within the Ishasha sector, you will also come across huge buffalo herds, numerous antelopes that keep crossing your path. There are also a number of elephants that have actually settled within the Ishasha area and the numerous hippos and the only thing not plentiful here are tourists. The Game drive can take close to 3-4 hours trying to locate the tree climbing lions. After the game drive; will head to the hotel / lodge for refreshment and overnight.

DAY 04: Morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

This morning you will head to back to the plains of Kasenyi for a morning game drive to try to find what could have missed the previous day. Lunch will be served at the lodge and after you will head to the jetty along kazinga channel for the afternoon boat cruise. This cruise offers you chances of viewing animals like: hippos, water birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and many other wildlife which flock the channel for drinking water.

Accommodation: Elephant Plains Lodge, Buffalo Safari Resort, Ishasha Jungle Lodge, Enjojo Lodge, The River Ishasha Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

DAY 05: To Kampala/Entebbe or Airport

After morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala\ Entebbe International Airport for your next flight out.

Main Destination: Entebbe

Accommodation: End of Tour, No accommodation

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Drinks: Mineral Water
