This 5 Days Gorillas and White Water Rafting Safari combines both Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to see Uganda gorillas in the jungle and white water rafting on River Nile in Jinja. This tour takes you to Jinja popularly known for being the source of the Nile-The Longest River on planet earth for the magnificent white water rafting experience. It then takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will have a chance to trek one of the habituated mountain gorilla families and take back memories. This 5 Days Gorillas and White Water Rafting Safari can as well start from Bwindi and end in Jinja.

 

 

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kampala

Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide at Entebbe Airport who will transfer you to Kampala for your overnight. Depending on the traffic situation of the day, you may pass through the city center for a brief city tour (not included in the cost and optional) before proceeding to your overnight accommodation property.

DAY 02: Transfer To Jinja

After your early morning breakfast, the early morning drive to Jinja for the Magnificent Uganda adventure experience. The journey will take you through Mabira forest the tropical rain forest in central Uganda, tea and sugarcane plantations plus several roadside markets arriving at Kalagala falls in time for your full or half day white water rafting adventure on the Nile. You will then return back to Kampala arriving in the evening for overnight.

 

Main Destination: Kampala

Accommodation: Kampala Forest Cottages

DAY 03: Depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After Breakfast, you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi located on the Eastern side of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Your guide will make stopovers at the Equator for photograph and lunch in Mbarara town. You will then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Rushaga section in Uganda. Rushaga region is found in the southern sector of Bwindi impenetrable National park, the park known in the history of Tourism for protecting the endangered species of animals the ‘mountain Gorillas’. The park is a heritage to the popular mountain Gorillas left in the wild ,these wild apes inhabiting this park are recorded to be over 400 in number and the Rushaga sector is one of the region with the biggest number of Gorilla families ‘five in total’ . While driving to this region, you will be thrilled with an amazing experience of the topography made of hills, valleys and the beautiful sceneries of Virunga, Mgahinga and Muhavura mountains though from a distance to Rushaga  section of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an overnight.

DAY 04: Gorilla trekking

After your early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to Rushaga Park headquarters for briefing and join others for gorilla trekking. You will start your trek which can take from 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of mountain gorillas on that particular day. Once you have found them, you will be around one hour of observation and photography before returning back to the park headquarters for certificate awarding and overnight at the lodge.

Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Camp (4star), Gorilla Close-up lodge, Wagtail eco-safari (3 star), Camp, Gorilla Valley (3 star) and Bwindi Jungle Lodge (3 star)

DAY 05: To Kampala/Entebbe or Airport

After morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala\ Entebbe International Airport for your next flight out.

Accommodation: End of Tour, No accommodation

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Drinks: Mineral Water
