Safari Overview

The costing is Availed upon request. For more informations about the Fly-in safari, please Click Here.
The 3 days Fly-in safari is designed for those that want to access the national park by air and have limited time. Murchison Falls National Park lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley. The park is bisected by the Victoria Nile, which plunges 45m over the remnant rift valley wall, creating the dramatic Falls where it derives its name Murchison Falls. Uganda’s most spectacular wildlife where you are rest assured of watching the Big 5 on your luck day and total guarantee to see the falls from the bottom angle. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic bird species including goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers, Hombills, cormorants and the rare shoebill stork can be seen along the shores of the River.
With a scenic bird's view of the park before landing at Pakuba airstrip, a 3 days fly-in Murchison Falls wildlife safari will start and end in Entebbe Uganda.
Day by Day - Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls National park
In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked by our guide to Entebbe airport for a domestic flight to Murchison falls national park landing at Pakuba airstrip. Upon landing at the airstrip, you will be welcomed by our guide and taken to the hotel for check-in. After resting and refreshing up, you will prepare for an evening game drive in the northern sector of the park in search of wildlife.

Day 2: Wildlife game drives and boat cruise
After early morning breakfast, cross the Nile by ferry to the northern bank of the park for a morning game drive. Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. En-route, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17km stretch you may see elephants, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, and crocodiles.
This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant, and the rare shoebill stork. There you leave the boat and start your – quite heavy – hike to the Top of the Falls (approx. 1 hour). See where the world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Your driver/guide will be waiting for you to bring you back to the lodge.
